Want to learn from the best but aren't keen on exams?
Even though we will always encourage students to leave here with qualifications we understand that exams may not be for everyone.
Students of any level are welcome to come and train at Talland and gain the experience and knowledge they need to help them in their equestrian career.

Independent Schools Inspectorate Report (ISI)
In June 2015 we underwent an inspection from Independent Schools Inspectorate. This enabled us to submit, and be successful in our application to be placed on the tier 4 register of sponsors, as a probationary sponsor, so that we can once again welcome international and national students onto our accredited BHS career courses. Please click here to view the register.
Talland is a unique equine training provider enabling students to gain internationally recognised qualifications.
Students can also gain valuable competition experience in whatever field they wish.
Non Native English Speakers (EU and International – Tier 4)
Upon initial contact with a prospective student, one gets a good feel for the level of English, both oral, written and the level of comprehension.
If it is felt either by the student or by staff at Talland that additional English tuition is required to enable effective communication to ensure exam success, then it can be arranged as required. This service is outsourced, either to the Cotswold International Language School, or to a private accredited provider, who can provide tuition onsite. This can be provided also for any children attending on a holiday course, either individually or in a group. This is at additional cost to the Student, and any payment is required in advance of tuition
